AVF, "Accueil des Villes Francaises", a national organisation which aims in each region covered, to provide a welcome and introduction to new arrivals and residents. AVF-Minervois was created early in 2003 as the Olonzac chapter of the national association.
Their specific aims are to facilitate the installation of newcomers, both French and foreigners, into the Minervois region. Their selected tools are the organisation of French lessons for foreign incomers and social events and visits to local points of interest for all incomers. The committee is composed of multi-lingual volunteers : languages covered include French, English, German, Dutch, Spanish. |

on "Le XVIIIème et les Arts décoratifs français" at 15h, Narbonne.
- Tuesday 8 February : a retrospective evening about AVF
at 20h30 at la Mairie, Olonzac
- Saturday 19 February : walk
at Aigne. Departure 14h from Celliers d'Onairac
- Monday 7 March : conference
on "Picasso : les ruptures" at 15h, Narbonne.
- Thursday 10 March : day out to Toulouse
by coach. Departure 8h from Olonzac. Guided visits to the Capitole, the Basilica St-Sernin, convent des Jacobins, cloisters, the Hôtel de Bernay. Cost 25 euro.
- Saturday 12 March : Orchestre Nationale de Montpellier
concert of music by Paganini, Stravinsky : at Narbonne at 20h45. Cost 22 euro
