Considered a surrealist artist in his early years, Jean de Montricher now devotes his time to research in the field of optical illusions. Drawing on the various contrasts which exist between colours, his principal objectives are to display movement and the third dimension. The techniques devised and developed by Jean de Montricher have already given clear results which can be seen in his paintings. While he has held exhibitions of his works both in France and overseas, Jean de Montricher established his presence several years ago now, in Olonzac where one can see his works in his own exhibition room.
